The ever-changing environment is being driven by numerous factors, including continuously increasing access to the internet around the world, with the resulting speeding up of information transmission and propagation of knowledge. AI has recently emerged as an extremely powerful force which has already transformed certain areas, and which has the potential to disrupt entire industries. Even within the AI community, the full effects and changes it will bring are not fully known.

Technological change across industries has accelerated rapidly, with the financial services sector, commerce and media/entertainment being some of the areas experiencing the most disruption, driven both by the need to remain technologically competitive with existing and new entrants into their industries, and the ever-increasing need to drive down costs. Most organizations feel pressure to have and articulate an AI strategy, even without necessarily being certain of the benefits and potential costs or issues that may arise.

All of this has led to continuous adoption of new software and apps, payment systems, digital delivery mechanisms and platforms, robust and flexible digital infrastructure, constantly updated information security systems, cloud storage expansion, internal and external communication, meeting and information sharing applications; and adoption and use of AI to varying degrees.

The media landscape (of course, including social media), is one of the areas where change and disruption is occurring most rapidly, which can mean that a client’s current strategy around usage of media tools and platforms for production and distribution of content, can quickly become inefficient, outdated or even obsolete without the client being fully aware.

We combine our continuous monitoring of innovation generally, and specifically around developments in media: with both in-house expertise and strategic partnerships with other specialist media and technology firms. This allows us to support our clients with customized solutions through the full range of media strategy and practice: including messaging and promotion; creation, production and distribution of marketing, advertising, proprietary and/or white-label content, across the spectrum of media tools, art forms and platforms.
